oscar's feline retreat requires a F3 vaccination, as a minimum, to ensure that your feline friend doesn't succumb to any of the following nasty diseases:

  • Enteritis, of which there are 2 types:
    Feline Coronavirus which causes diarrhoea and inflammation of the abdomen. In severe cases this disease can effect the brain and spinal cord; and
    Feline Panleukopaenia which causes fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, and liver failure. In extreme cases, enteritis, can cause death.

  • Feline Calici Virus is part of the cat flu complex. It causes sneezing, conjunctivitis, and ulcers on the gums and tongue.

  • Feline Rhinotracheitis, also part of the cat flu complex, causes chronic sneezing, conjunctivitis, and can lead to incurable nasal and sinus infection.

    • The vaccine against these 3 diseases is called F3.
