When I've picked her up from other catteries she has obviously been fretting and unhappy because she's lost weight and her coat is not in good condition. She comes home from oscar's in excellent condition, just like she's had a holiday, and I guess in a way she has had because she's got different things to play with and a nice outdoor run to sit in the sun. I recommend oscar's to anybody who worries about leaving their fur babies with strangers because at oscar's they are like they're part of the family."

  • "On the recommendation of Small Friends Veterinary Hospital, we placed Sox, our RSPCA cat, at oscar's . She was accepted as one of the "family" immediately and although one of the many there, has always had personal and loving treatment from Sue and Gwyn. A home away from home, Sox is always happy to go on "holiday" and there is no stress on our part, worrying if she is okay. Sue and Gwyn involve themselves on a personal level with each cat and it shows with the attitude our cat has each time she returns. Can't recommend oscar's highly enough."

  • "I took my cat, Thomas, to oscar's feline retreat in September 2005. I was nervous as Thomas is a sensitive and shy cat, but Sue and Gwyn were very welcoming, and looked after him so well and gave him lots of care and attention. When I picked him up, he was contented and relaxed...not at all stressed as he had been in the past with other catteries that he has been to.

    The cattery itself is gorgeous...it has a cosy and comfortable atmosphere, plenty of toys, as well as a fantastic outside run for the cats.

    When I was away, Sue didn't mind at all that I phoned up a few times to ask if Thomas was okay, and she was also more than happy to provide him with his favourite food.

    I have booked Thomas at oscar's again in November 2006, and I have absolutely no hesitation at all this time!"

  • "To the staff at oscar's , thank you for your patience with our cat, Burfall. He was very happy at your cattery and for five weeks over the Christmas break whilst we moved to Brisbane. Your versatility at accommodating our unusual requests and making sure that Burfall had a home whilst we looked for one interstate took a lot of worry off the family. Having used a lot of catteries over the years, we were very impressed with the set-up in Gungahlin and still have to find the same standard here in Brisbane.
